ABOUT KEVIN KING

Hi, I'm Kevin King. I'm a former Engineer (Penn State) who left the corporate world years ago to start tuning pianos! I became a piano tuner in 2011 after studying in Los Angeles under Deke Erdmann, the former Piano Tuner for the LA Philharmonic Orchestra. My love for pianos and piano design was amplified after learning to tune from one of the best.

I am classically trained on both piano and violin, and play the electric and acoustic guitar as well. I'd love to get my hands on your piano someday! 👍 I am the current piano tuner for Tempe Elementary School District, and tune for various churches, venues, and concert halls across the Valley.

I bring the same precision tuning service to the grand piano on the concert stage as I do to the compact in-home piano. Whether you have a Steinway Grand or a simple spinet piano, rest assured that it is in good hands. Your ears will thank you 🙂

Kevin tuned my piano yesterday for the first time. His excellent communication with me from the onset of setting the appointment to completing the tuning is nothing short of excellent. He provided reminders and confirmation leading up to the date and even hours and minutes until the scheduled time. He was professional and careful with our piano and did a remarkable job. His rate is very fair as well. I will definitely schedule with him again. I highly recommend him!

We’ve had Kevin tune our piano a few times now and he’s always punctual, professional and so kind! Our 8 year old was very curious about the process and wanted to play her piano pieces for him too. I am highly satisfied with the piano tuning Mr. Kevin King accomplished on our church piano. I can't wait for the piano to be played on Sunday. The piano tuning really changed the sound of the piano. Kevin came yesterday to tune our baby grand which has been about a year since he did the previous tuning. No pitch raise was required, but it was out of tune. 90 minutes in and out and the tone is noticeably richer. HIghly recommend Kevin King for his professionalism, quality, price and service.
