ABOUT KEVIN KING
Hi, I'm Kevin King. I'm a former Engineer (Penn State) who left the corporate world years ago to start tuning pianos! I became a piano tuner in 2011 after studying in Los Angeles under Deke Erdmann, the former Piano Tuner for the LA Philharmonic Orchestra. My love for pianos and piano design was amplified after learning to tune from one of the best.
I am classically trained on both piano and violin, and play the electric and acoustic guitar as well. I'd love to get my hands on your piano someday! 👍 I am the current piano tuner for Tempe Elementary School District, and tune for various churches, venues, and concert halls across the Valley.
I bring the same precision tuning service to the grand piano on the concert stage as I do to the compact in-home piano. Whether you have a Steinway Grand or a simple spinet piano, rest assured that it is in good hands. Your ears will thank you 🙂

We found Kevin on Yelp; based on the great reviews, I reached out to him. He performed the piano cleaning and tuning for us yesterday, and we were very pleased. He was very professional, and is obviously a very accomplished pianist; we felt like we were at a concert as he was tuning the piano. (Thanks for the Jackson Browne memories!) The charges seemed reasonable for the work done. We wholeheartedly would recommend Kevin and his services!

It had been in storage for quite some time and I was worried it wouldn't be able to be brought into tune, but he did a great job. It's a joy to play again! Kevin was great! My husband and I moved into a house that had room for my mom's piano. She hadn't had it tuned since about 2000! He was able to fix a stuck key, re-attach the piano stand, and get our piano in tune in less than 2 hours. The fact that he also plays beautifully while working was a bonus. We will absolutely use him again!

I was recently reunited with my grandmother's piano, which hadn't been tuned in over 10 years. Every melody I played sounded like it came out of a haunted mansion. Kevin worked magic on that piano in less than 3 hours and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend!!

Kevin did a great job tuning my baby grand. It sounds wonderful! He was efficient with his time and finished in probably an hour and fifteen minutes. Also he is a really nice guy and his fees are compatible with other piano tuners I've used. I'll definitely call him again.
